"Daddy! Daddy, did ya see me?" Mala called excitedly as she chased her father.
"Yes of course I did my dear. At this rate you'll be the strongest huntress in the whole Pride."
"You mean it?"
"Of course." The lion smiled down at his daughter. "Mala, come, there is something I must talk to you about."
"Alright..." The young lioness followed him away from Pride Rock.

It was nearly dark by the time they stopped. Scar sat down, Mala sat next to him.

"My dear, you must know, if you're mother cannot give me a heir to the throne, then you, shall be the next queen."
"But...What about Nuka? He's your son....And he was born first."
"Yes, but Nuka is not a strong leader....He's weak, tiny, and frankly he smells. I have decided that Nuka will be the royal adviser when the time comes."
"Oh...." Her ears folded down.
"Do not worry my dear, you will be a fine queen one day. I know it." At this the lioness smiled and looked up as the stars began to come out.
"You know....Auntie Sarabi told me, that the great kings of the past are up there."
"Yes, my mother told me the same thing. She also told me," He turned to face his daughter. "That when ever you feel alone, those kings will always be there to guide you. And so will I."






'Cause I can okay? :/ I can imagine Scar being a nice daddy, except to Nuka.

i think scar would have been very loving to a mate and cub(s) even with what happened. So i'm sure with having Uru as his mother he turned out to love his cubs (if they turned out successful) like Mala
